Revolving Door Options

Revolving door options offer various solutions that elevate security, comfort, and aesthetics at your buildings entrance to the highest level. Not every option is compatible with every revolving door model. The revolving door options are listed below.

Locking Options:

While manual revolving doors come with manual locking and automatic doors with electronic locking by default, we also offer espagnolette lock options upon request.

Door Handles:

Manual revolving doors are equipped with 70 cm vertical stainless-steel tube handles as standard. On automatic doors, door handles can be added upon request. Alternatively, full-length vertical or horizontal tube handles can be applied.

Floor Ring and Mat:

The floor ring can be installed on its own or combined with a floor mat. Especially for large-diameter doors or special models like M-COM, the use of a floor ring is recommended for optimal functionality. Our floor mats are optionally available in various colors and designs.

Water Insulation:

Since revolving doors are often installed half indoors and half outdoors, a partial or full water insulation on the canopy is necessary when no roof is present to prevent rainwater ingress, which could damage the electronic components.

Floor Mechanism:

The floor mechanism, standard in automatic all-glass revolving doors, can also be applied to other automatic models if needed – often based on design preferences and if the building floor is suitable for such installation.

Breakout Wings:

As entrance systems, revolving doors must support rapid evacuation during emergencies. If the door is part of an escape route and no additional emergency exit doors exist nearby, breakout wing functionality becomes essential.

Air Curtain: Revolving doors inherently reduce energy loss. An additional air curtain further improves energy efficiency. For all-glass revolving doors, vertical air curtains are often preferred over integrated ones.

Night Shield:

Provides extra protection against burglary. Can be manufactured to operate manually or automatically upon request.

Speed Control:

Especially important in manual revolving doors, this system limits the rotational speed based on pushing force to ensure user safety.

Anti-Wind System:

Prevents uncontrolled rotation during strong winds. The need for this feature is determined based on wind load data of the installation site.

Touch Panel:

The touch panel allows post-installation adjustment of operational modes and settings. Door sensors and safety edges are displayed on the touch panel and can be monitored for proper function. With Wi-Fi connectivity, remote access from anywhere in the world is possible.
